Temps to drop, roads likely to get icy Thanksgiving weekend

EYEWITNESS NEWS (WBRE/WYOU) — The "fowl" weather that we had for Thanksgiving is now heading off to the northeast and will allow some of the coldest air of the season to move in for the weekend.

Temperatures are anticipated to be below average over the next several days with multiple chances of snow showers.

For Thursday, residents can expect the skies to become partly cloudy.

It could get cold with lows near 30°, which may cause some roads to get icy late Thursday night or early Friday morning.

Black Friday could be partly sunny and chilly with a chance of snow showers, especially up north with high temperatures near 40°.
