BLOOMSBURG, COLUMBIA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— The holiday spirit is alive and well in Bloomsburg thanks to another shopping experience.
A big crowd turned out today to the fairgrounds for the fun that is Bloomsburg winter fest.
Hundreds of vendors filled the fair buildings to sell Christmas crafts and decorations, delicious treats, and even adult beverages.
Live entertainment, horse-drawn carriage rides and a visit from Santa made winter fest complete.
The event brings together the community, and even those who are new in town.
"Just like to wish everyone a happy holiday. I'm kind of new to the area, born and raised in this area, came back after 30 years, and I'm finding all the local stuff to be just great, just really nice," said winter fest attendee Brenda Wido of Union Township.
The two-day Bloomsburg winter fest wrapped up at 6:00 p.m.
Next up, organizers will focus on planning for next year's Bloomsburg Fair in September.
