SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The holiday shopping season is underway and major deals continue today online for Cyber Monday. 28/22 News explains while you search the web don't forget to check out local businesses with great deals.

"So when you come in here one-stop shop, from greeting cards to wrapping paper to the products that you're actually going to be gifting this holiday season," stated Fleming.
There are plenty of deals for your entire Christmas list locally.
"Cyber Monday is not just for big box stores our local businesses downtown have a lot going on today," stated Liz Baldi, business development director of Scranton Tomorrow.
There's a variety of businesses in downtown Scranton.
"We have men's clothing women's clothing children's clothing, we have little toys and trinkets for kids as well," explained Baldi.

Not sure what to gift, gift cards are always a safe option. Snag a sweet deal at a salon or the Giving Tree Wellness Center.
"Right now we are offering 25% off all gift cards," said Olivia Bennington, manager, of the Giving Tree Wellness Center.
Treat someone to a massage or float therapy. They can also use the gift card at the cafe, or for any of the retail items.
"I just think shopping small is a lot better just cause you get more personalized items and more personalized gifts that way," explained Bennington.
Need a gift for someone on their journey look no further than Scranton Pilates. Cyber Monday is the final day of their package sale.
"Which is the 5,10 & 12 sessions with 12-month expiration which is a big deal for us, we do this once a year," said Ayla Palfrey, founder of Scranton Pilates.
