HAZLE TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — State police report that three people were arrested after being accused of retail thefts at a Walmart in Luzerne County.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, troopers responded to Walmart in Hazle Township for separate retail theft incidents throughout November.
On November 20, around 10:00 a.m., troopers said they were called for a 41-year-old man from Hazleton who failed to pay for five bottles of vitamins.

Then on November 22, around 8:00 p.m., state police say a 25-year-old woman from Hazleton was at the self-checkout and only scanning a portion of the items. The suspect then requested a refund from the machine and got all the money back, PSP reported. The woman attempted to steal $590.56 of merchandise.
Lastly, on November 23, around 11:00 p.m., police stated a 28-year-old man from Florida stole various food products worth $95.86.
All three have been cited for retail theft through the district court.
