SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— After a five-day investigation, police say a man has been arrested for Black Friday robberies in Scranton.
On Friday, the Scranton Police Department announced that 47-year-old Guy Frankel from Clark Summit had been arrested for the incidents at PNC Bank and Sunoco.
Two correctional officers charged with facilitating assault at SCI Dallas
Police say Frankel is accused of attempting to rob the PNC Bank, robbing the Sunoco, and assaulting a clerk with pepper spray.
Frankel has been charged with strong-arm robbery, theft, simple assault, and receiving stolen property. He is being held at the Lackawanna County Prison on a $100,000 bail.
