SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— Six people have been displaced after an early Saturday morning house fire in Lackawanna County.
According to Lackawanna County Center for Public Safety, a call came in around 5:00 a.m. for a reported structure fire at 820 Capouse Avenue.
Crews say when they got on-scene, flames were shooting from the roof, but was contained and wrapped up within the hour.
Fire marshal investigating auction house fire in Columbia County
The Scranton Fire Department states that no one was hurt, but a family of six is being aided by the Red Cross at this time.
A Scranton Fire Inspector is investigating the cause of the fire, and should have the cause by next week.
