PITTSTON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The holiday season is getting even merrier for local children in need.
Luzerne County Transportation Authority held a 'Stuff the Bus' Saturday for the Marine Corps Reserve's Toys for Tots drive.
Cumulus Radio and LCTA teamed up at the Pittston Walmart Supercenter to collect new toys, books, games, and even cash.
This is the tenth year for the event. Last year alone the region donated 70,000 toys benefiting local families, all thanks to a special group.

"The people of the community, you know they say it's the valley with a heart here and it is. I mean people have been very generous and really cooperating and helping us, they've really supported this effort, a lot of great people in this area," explained Bob Fiume the executive director of LCTA and event coordinator.
Stuff the bus continues until 8:00 p.m. Saturday night at the Walmart Supercenter in Pittston.
All you have to do is bring a new, unwrapped toy for kids up to 14 years of age or a cash donation.
