SOUTH CREEK TOWNSHIP, BRADFORD COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— A large portion Route 14 was closed in both directions after a crash Saturday afternoon.
South Creek Volunteer Ambulance Association stated that the Bradford County Coroner responded to the scene of a crash along Route 14 in around 9:00 a.m
The coroner stated that both 29-year-old Rebecca High, from Troy, and her passenger 29-year-old Skyler Drake, also from Troy died at the scene of the crash.
According to Bradford County Communications Center, a call came for a two car crash near the intersection of Ketchum Road and Route 14.
When on-scene, crews found one vehicle engulfed in flames prompting additional units to be requested.
One other patient was also transported in unknown condition.
PennDOT officials state that Route 14 was closed in both directions between Roaring Run Road (Route 4034) and Coryland Road (Route 4031) before reopening just before 3:00 p.m.
Pennsylvania State Police were assisted by units from South Creek Township, Ridgebury, Troy, Sayre, and Canton.
Pennsylvania State Police Towanda is currently investigating the crash.
Officials say autopsies are scheduled for later this week.
