ROARING CREEK TOWNSHIP, COLUMBIA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Authorities say a Columbia County man is displaced after a fire broke out in Roaring Creek Township Sunday afternoon.
Shortly after 4:30 p.m., the Fire Chief of Valley Chemical Fire Company, Mark Sharrow, told 28/22 News crews were called to the 1800 block of Old Reading Road in Roaring Creek Township for a reported structure fire.

Chief Sharrow explained that a generator sparked the fire which spread from the summer kitchen to the main house.
Officials say there are no reported injuries in the fire and the scene was cleared at about 8:05 p.m.
Chief Sharrow said the fire is being ruled accidental.
The Red Cross was called to help the man after being displaced, as the home is likely a total loss, Chief Sharrow explained.
