OLD FORGE, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The Jingle Bell Jog also helped raise spirits and set the stage for the borough's 10th Snow Forge.
Part of South Main Street was shut down as dozens of vendors and many families flocked to what became a winter wonderland.
It featured food and other items for sale and many free events too.
Among the freebies were a petting zoo and even alpacas.
The crowd was able to feed carrots to the camel-like mammals.

"It's pretty fun because I got to see the alpacas," said Old Forge resident Jason Hadden.
"What did you think of them?" 28/22 News Reporter Gianna Galli asked.
"They're pretty cool," Hadden replied.
"We're happy to see all of our friends and family here walking around and getting to see, you know, people that used to live in Old Forge and come from out of town just for this," Snow Forge Committee Member Jenna Shotwell said.
Volunteers work throughout the year to make Snow Forge possible and celebrate the holiday season.
