Crash kills 19-year-old driver, passenger suffers major injuries

DINGMAN TWP., PIKE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — State police report two teens were involved in a crash where the driver was killed and the passenger was flown to the hospital.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, on December 5 around 9:40 p.m., troopers responded to a report of a one-vehicle crash on Log Tavern Road in Dingman Township, Pike County.

Police say the driver, 19-year-old Hunter Bradatsch, failed to navigate a curve. The car then crossed into the opposite lane and continued off the roadway, hitting a pole.

After hitting the pole the vehicle spun and impacted a tree and both Bradatsch and the passenger, a 19-year-old woman, were extracted from the car, PSP reported.

Bradatsch was pronounced dead on the scene and the passenger was flown by helicopter to Morristown New Jersey to be treated for major injuries. Her condition is unknown at this time.
