WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The holiday season is getting even merrier for local children in need.
Luzerne County Transportation Authority (LCTA) held its 10th Annual Stuff the Bus event over the weekend for the Marine Corps Reserve's Toys for Tots Drive.
LCTA’s ‘Stuff the Bus for Toys for Tots’ to kick off
This year, they set up shop at the Pittston Walmart to collect new toys, games, and even cash for area children.
LCTA collected more than 2,000 toys and raised more than $7,000 dollars during this year's event.
