PORTER TWP., PIKE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — State police report a 12-year-old has died after a vehicle crash that sent two others to the hospital.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, troopers investigated a one-vehicle crash on Silver Lake Road in Porter Township on December 15 around 8:00 p.m.
Man accused of biting part of victim’s ear off during assault
Police say the vehicle exited the roadway for an unknown reason and struck a tree. The backseat passenger, a 12-year-old girl from Dingmans Ferry, was pronounced dead on the scene.
The driver and the front seat passenger were taken to Lehigh Valley-Pocono after they suffered injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
