DICKSON CITY, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A Dickson City road is now reopened after crews battled a structure fire Friday evening.
The Dickson City Police Department said on Friday shortly before 5:00 p.m. that drivers were to avoid the 1300 block of Main Street.
Police explained the roadway was closed down as firefighters battled a structure fire at Berger's Furniture.

Dickson City Police say no one was in the vacant building at the time and no one was reported injured.
Police say the road has since reopened.
Authorities say the fire marshal is investigating the fire, but it's not being considered suspicious.
