One man dead after a crash in Lycoming County

MUNCY CREEK TOWNSHIP, LYCOMING COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— One man has been confirmed dead after a crash along Route 405 on Thursday.

According to a Pennsylvania State Police press release, crews responded to the 10,000 block of PA-405 just before 3:00 p.m.

Former Scranton officer charged with rape of students

Police say that 38-year-old Robert Bryant of Shamokin after losing control of his car and rolling 40 feet down a embankment.

Troopers state that Bryant was traveling southbound along Route 405 when he lost control of the vehicle and died at the scene.

Troopers were assisted by the Clinton Township VFD, Montgomery Borough VFD, and Muncy Area VFD.
