HAZLE TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— Christmas is now just three days away and that means last minute shopping.
Hundreds of shoppers made their way to the Laurel Mall near Hazleton today.
Families browsed the mall stopping at various shops and stands covered in festive decorations.
Many shoppers scrambled to find last minute gifts, grab a deal, and even enjoy the festive season with those they love.
"Last minute gift shopping you know, just got to make sure you get everything," said Pierce Grim of Tamaqua.
"I'm not a last minute shopper, this is just like odds and ends. I have a son who is in the military, he is home right now which is great, he doesn't need much but I got him stuff. Now it's more about being with family for the holidays versus running around," explained Heather Cassidy of Jim Thorpe.
The Laurel Mall will be open tomorrow from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and on Christmas eve from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m..
