Many residents, pets enjoying frigid temperatures

EYEWITNESS NEWS (WBRE/WYOU) — While some of us are shivering and despising this cold winter weather, others think it's okay.

28/22 News was out and about in Luzerne County Tuesday asking people if they enjoy this weather and there are a few hearty folks in Northeastern Pennsylvania who say winter is great, even when it's really cold like this week.

The frigid temps don't stop people from running or dog walking.

The cold has come, here’s how to avoid freezing pipes

"The winter I think is better. I hate running in the heat, so usually once it gets hot in the summer, I slow down, maybe run the gym a little bit, but during the spring, fall, winter, I love being outside. It's a lot more relaxing and comfortable on me," Calvin Brzozowski from Plymouth explained.

"It's better then summer cause down here, the bugs, the mosquitoes are terrible sometimes, and the dogs don't have as much energy in the heat. They love that they run and play a lot more in the cold weather," said Forty Fort resident Tony Smith.

If you are keeping track, there are 164 days until summer.
