AVOCA, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Saturday morning.
PSP said they were called to a residence on the 800 block of Main Street at around 4:00 a.m. to investigate a shooting.
Five people charged after 2023 homicide in Susquehanna County
Officials say the shooting resulted in the death of one person.
28/22 News was on scene as the Luzerne County Coroner, Dupont Borough Police, Avoca Police, and State Troopers were investigating the incident.
Troopers say there is an active investigation into the incident, but added there is no threat to the public.
PSP are handling the investigation.
