WATCH: Ice builds up in Susquehanna River

WYOMING, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Prepare for a shiver down your spine after what we are about to show you on the Susquehanna River.

There is ice buildup along the river as far as the eye can see in the Wyoming Valley.

Ice could be seen downstream and upstream from shore to shore near the Dennis Memorial Bridge in Wyoming.

There are still pockets of open water along the river, especially near bridge supports and we are happy to say there are no reports of any problems because of the ice along the Susquehanna River.
