Authorities say that they were called to the 13000 block of Route 414 for a fully involved barn fire with entrapment just before 10:00 a.m.
Upon arrival, Canton Fire Department confirmed there was a fully involved fire with a witness stating that there was a person trapped.
Officials say due to the progression of the fire that a rescue was unable to be performed.
Myer was discovered upon suppressing the fire, according to the release.
A PSP Fire Marshal conducted an investigation into the fire, and the cause is currently undetermined.
The state police fire marshal determined that Myer's death is being ruled accidental due to smoke inhalation and thermal trauma.
