WAPWALLOPEN, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — As snow fell across the region this weekend, one man came across a different kind of scenic view. Hundreds of turkeys marching through the falling snow in Luzerne County.

The video pans across the field showing turkey after turkey traversing the field as the snow falls.

"I have never in my life seen so many turkeys in one spot," Labenski said.

Labenski mentions seeing another field moments before with just as many turkeys.

"Each evening, turkeys fly into trees to spend the night. A flock of six to 40 birds might roost in the same tree or in adjacent trees. They prefer the shelter of conifers during inclement weather. In early morning, the birds glide to the ground, call, and regroup for feeding," according to the Pennsylvania Game Commission.
