2025 Saint Patrick's Parades happening in NEPA

(WBRE/WYOU) — Irish heritage bolsters strong in NEPA and what better way to honor Saint Patrick than with a parade? Here is a list of the parades happening in the area to get you ready to celebrate.

Scranton — Since 1962 the Scranton Saint Patrick's parade has captured the hearts of many. This year, parade day is Saturday, March 8. The Brian P. Pittston — Going on for its 12th year, the Pittston City Saint Patrick's Parade will be held on Saturday, March 1. The Leprechaun Loop Run/Walk registration begins at 9:00 a.m. with the race starting at 10:30 a.m. Then the parade starts at 11:30 a.m. For full details, visit the Pittston City Saint Patrick's Parade.

Wilkes-Barre — Celebrating its 45th year, the City of Wilkes-Barre's Saint Patrick's Parade will happen on Sunday, March 9th. The parade begins at 2:00 p.m. To learn more, visit Wilkes-Barre's Saint Patrick's Parade.

Stroudsburg — On its 46th year, the Stroudsburg Saint Patrick's Parade will be held on Sunday, March 23. Kicking off at 1:15 p.m. the parade will start at the Stroudsburg High School and end at Crystal Street in Stroudsburg. To learn more, visit the Stroudsburg Saint Patrick's Parade.

The Girardville Parade has been canceled for the second year in a row. The Girardville Parade website cites security concerns as the reason for canceling the parade.
