Scranton — Since 1962 the Scranton Saint Patrick's parade has captured the hearts of many. This year, parade day is Saturday, March 8. The Brian P. Pittston — Going on for its 12th year, the Pittston City Saint Patrick's Parade will be held on Saturday, March 1. The Girardville Parade has been canceled for the second year in a row. The Girardville Parade website cites security concerns as the reason for canceling the parade.
