PHILADELPHIA, PHILADELPHIA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The FBI is searching for two suspects involved in the shooting of a Brinks armored truck driver who also got away with a bag of money.
According to the FBI, in October 2023, a Brinks truck serviced an ATM at a Bank of America in Philadelphia. The Brinks driver was approached by two suspects, one of whom was carrying a handgun.

Investigators say the driver tried to fight off the suspect but one of them took the Brinks driver's duty gun and shot him in the side. The driver fell to the ground and the suspects kicked him in the head, the release reports.
The suspects fled in a 2022 Chevy Malibu with a bag of money from the Brinks truck. Officials believe the suspects may have ties to Camden, New Jersey.
