BARTONSVILLE, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A new healthcare campus is being constructed in Monroe County and the final beam was raised on Tuesday.
The last beam was put in place for the frame of the Lehigh Valley Hospital Tannersville.
This is the third of several neighborhood hospitals. It will be located at 1328 Golden Slipper Road in Bartonsville.
LVH Tannersville will feature 11 ER beds and 10 inpatient beds for those requiring overnight stays or additional monitoring and testing.
Active weather pattern will bring wind, snow showers to NEPA
The health center will be built on the same campus and will offer services including physician practices, adult rehabilitation, cardiology, and more.
"I'm looking forward to give patients another option, another choice to seek healthcare in a way that works for them. Healthcare is personal so I wanna make sure that people feel comfortable accessing healthcare when and where they need it and have it done efficiently," said LVHN System Director of Neighborhood Hospitals Eric Bean.
Neighborhood hospitals are licensed and accredited acute care facilities, with a full-service emergency room. They are open 24 hours a day, year-round.
