Winter Weather Advisory: Freezing rain on the horizon in PA

(WBRE/WYOU) — The next storm system arrives late Thursday into early Friday in Pennsylvania with some freezing rain.

Starting late Thursday night into early Friday morning rain and pockets of freezing rain arrives.

With temperatures hovering around the freezing mark, some areas, especially in the higher elevations, have to watch for some icy spots.

A light glaze of 0.10" of ice is possible. Valleys should be mainly wet. 

By the afternoon on Friday, this will likely become a plain rain event as temperatures rise above freezing.

Drier weather returns heading into the weekend.
