WILKES-BARRE TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man is facing charges after police say he assaulted an officer after refusing to leave Dream Girls, threatening staff.
According to the Wilkes-Barre Township Police Department, on January 31 around 1:30 a.m., officers responded to Dream Girls for a disorderly patron who refused to leave and made terroristic threats against staff.
Once on the scene, officers said they found a man, identified as Brandon Lee Frisby, 45, standing in the parking lot. Police stated Frisby appeared heavily intoxicated and he became increasingly "combative and resisted arrest."

Officers struggled to arrest Frisby and he bit an officer’s thumb, refusing to release his grip, as stated in the release.
The officer was taken to Geisinger for medical treatment.
While in custody officers reported that Frisby continued to resist and fought with prison staff at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility.
Frisby has been charged with aggravated assault, terrorist threats, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and harassment.
He remains in jail on a $25,000 bail.
