OLD LYCOMING TOWNSHIP, LYCOMING COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— A Lycoming County woman died while traveling from her home Friday in Lycoming County.
According to a release by Lycoming County Coroner Charles Kiessling, 74-year-old Linda Heitsenrether died while traveling from her home in Old Lycoming Township Friday afternoon.

The release states that Heitsenrether was traveling east on Mill Lane when she suddenly left the roadway and struck a tree with no indication of slowing down.
When officials arrived on scene, Heitsenrether was found without a pulse.
Emergency personnel tried giving her CPR at the scene, and in route to UPMC Williamsport Hospital but her pulse did not return.
Heitsenrether was pronounced dead at 2:36 p.m., and sustained no traumatic injuries as a result of the crash, prompting her death to be ruled as a result of natural causes, according to Kiessling.
