CARBONDALE, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A Carbondale woman has been sentenced to 27 years in prison for the production of child pornography.
According to a U.S. Attorney, for an approximately nine-month period in 2023, Mykayliah Henever engaged in sexual contact with a toddler and used the toddler to create images and videos of child pornography.
Woman charged with making child porn for online boyfriend
Those images and videos were either viewed live or sent over the internet to another person, Benjamin Egli, of Iowa.
Egli is being prosecuted in Iowa and has pled guilty and awaits sentencing.
Hevener, of Carbondale, was sentenced to 27 years in prison.
