(WBRE/WYOU) — A man has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, armed burglary, and more after his apprehension by police.
On January 27, Tyre Dunn, 36, encountered police in New Jersey after allegedly destroying two homes with Molotov cocktails in Pottsville.
Arson suspect allegedly fights with pick axe to avoid arrest
Police say Dunn was found in a home in Lodi, NJ which led to Dunn fleeing and swinging a pickaxe that hit one agent.
Officials say the pickaxe did not penetrate the agent's bulletproof vest.
Dunn was transported by the FBI to the Schuylkill County Prison and has been charged with two counts of first-degree attempted murder and other charges.
