Poached eggs: 100,000 organic eggs stolen from Pa. farm

ANTRIM TWP., FRANKLIN COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — State police are investigating a theft where 100,000 eggs were stolen from a Pennsylvania organic farm.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, on February 1 troopers were called to Pete & Gerry's Organics after they said around 100,000 eggs were stolen.

Police say the eggs were stolen from the rear of a distribution trailer around 8:00 p.m.

100,000 organic eggs are at the current retail value of $40,000.
