Man charged with possession and production of child porn

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A Scranton man has been charged with the production and possession of child pornography.

According to the U.S. Department of Justice, Anthony Clyde Hoffman, 29, was in possession of over 800 unique images and videos of child exploitation material in November of 2024.

Missing teens lead to man’s arrest after alleged meet up

After agents reviewed those images and videos, it revealed that Hoffman allegedly produced child exploitation images of a toddler using his cell phone in May of 2024.

Hoffman was indicted on February 4 by a federal grand jury for the production and possession of child pornography.
