Editor's Note: Snow totals have been updated as of 6:30 p.m.
(WBRE/WYOU) — There is a Winter Weather Advisory for the entire area from 4:00 p.m. Saturday until 7:00 a.m. Sunday.
Light snow and sleet could be with us through 8:00 p.m. with a wintry mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain will continue through the night.
While most of us may see the change to a mix, parts of northern Pennsylvania could stay all snow.
This mix should quickly end early Sunday morning, likely between 4:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
Two to five inches are expected north and east of the Wilkes-Barre area.
A coating of two inches is expected for areas south with sleet and freezing rain that could mix in overnight.
Be careful on the roads. We are currently in a pattern that can bring us a few opportunities of snow for the upcoming week, with temperatures at or a little below average.
For Saturday you can expect mostly cloudy skies with light snow developing later this afternoon with highs in the mid 30's.
Saturday night will be mostly cloudy with periods of snow, sleet and freezing rain with lows in the mid 20's. Precipitation will taper off early Sunday morning.
The cold air will be denser towards the Northern Tier. The closer you live to this region, the better chance you will have of accumulating snow.

Farther south, you'll still see some snow. However, warmer air noses in with sleet and perhaps some freezing rain mixing in. This will cut down on snow totals.
Similar to Thursday's storm, no matter the precipitation type, it will still be icy and messy on the roadways.
Good news: If you have plans for the Big Game, we see improvements by late Sunday morning.

Highs on Sunday could be in the mid-30s.
In turn, road conditions may quickly improve later Sunday morning and afternoon.
Sunday afternoon and Monday could offer us fairly quiet weather with Monday's highs likely near 30.
We're tracking the next winter storm in the lineup, which will likely be here Tuesday afternoon and night.
At this point, it looks like the track of the storm will be south of us and that keeps us on the colder side.
Therefore, our current thinking is that it may be all light snow with highs on Tuesday near 30.
We'll get a small break on Wednesday and temperatures could climb into the lower 30s.
Closings and Delays
Thursday will be a mostly gray day with a possibility of a snow/mix developing and highs in the mid-30s.
Another winter storm is expected to be here Wednesday night and Thursday with a wintry mix.
Friday we get to see a little more sun with highs again near 30.
By Saturday, we're back at it with snow showers expected and highs will top out in the low 30s.
