HAZLE TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — State police say they are investigating a fraud where the victim's credit/debit cards were stolen and $4,000 was withdrawn from their bank account.
Pennsylvania State Police is investigating a backpack theft from a vehicle in the 1000 block of Church Street in Hazle Township on November 13. The backpack had the victim's driver's license and credit/debit cards.
On November 21, police said the stolen information was used to access the victim’s bank account at Truist Bank in Douglassville.
Shooting leads to hit and run, father and baby injured
The suspect pictured allegedly withdrew around $4,000 from the victim's bank. She was observed driving a white SUV.
