28/22 News stopped by McCarthy Flowers in Wilkes-Barre where they were packed with people picking up flowers for that special someone in their life.

Employees there say the most popular flower that's ordered is the classic rose, mainly red but can be a variety of colors.
The spring mix bouquet is a top seller too.
"The guys have done well this year, not a lot of guys waited till last minute. So kudos to them! But yesterday was a very long day. We were here 11 or 12 hours. We had probably 200 orders that we tagged yesterday," said Allie Berry-Herb, floral manager and designer.
McCarthy Flowers is a family run shop that has been in business for over 40 years.
