Traffic restrictions being lifted across NEPA

(WBRE/WYOU) — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is lifting some traffic restrictions after winter weather passed through our area.

PennDOT says the temporary speed limit reductions and lane restrictions on Interstates in Northeastern Pennsylvania will be lifted at 11:00 a.m. Sunday.

Route 54 between Route 487 in Ralpho Township and Route 61 in Mount Carmel Township in Northumberland County.

Restrictions will be communicated via variable message boards, the 511PA traveler information website at www.511PA.com and smartphone apps. Motorists can also sign up for alerts on the website.
