(WBRE/WYOU) — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced Monday evening State Route 220 was closed after a crash involving multiple vehicles.
PennDOT advised drivers that both lanes of Route 220 Northbound are closed between Route 44 in Clinton County and Thomas Street, or Route 3027 in Jersey Shore, Lycoming County after a vehicle crash.
A detour is in place using Railroad Street and Thomas Street, according to PennDOT.

The roadway is anticipated by PennDOT to be reopened by 11:00 p.m. Monday.
