PIKE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Investigators have charged a woman after they say she communicated sexually with a child on Facebook Messenger.
Pike County District Attorney Ray Tonkin reports that 35-year-old Ashley Hall-Stoll of Dingmans Ferry has been charged with the following after information was obtained from a child report line:
Unlawful contact with a minor
Criminal use of a communication facility
Criminal attempt to disseminate explicit sexual materials to minors,
Criminal solicitation to disseminate explicit sexual materials to minors
Corruption of minors
Obstruction in child abuse cases
Five arrested for alleged Walmart theft
The affidavit states detectives learned information from the Dickson House Children’s Advocacy Center after a child reported Hall-Stoll was asking them to watch her perform oral sex on her partner via Facebook messenger.
Investigators said Hall-Stoll sent the message and then immediately deleted it. Hall-Stoll later admitted to police that she asked the minor to watch her and her partner, who was revealed to be a registered sex offender.
Hall-Stoll was taken to the Pike County Correctional Facility on a $175,000 bail.
