Rain and strong winds forecasted for northeastern, central Pa.

(WBRE/WYOU) — Warm air has moved into northeastern Pennsylvania, bringing rain and wind along with it.

After a cold start to the week, the mild air has arrived with an unsettled weather pattern.

Periods of rain will move across northeastern and central Pennsylvania Wednesday. The rain will be steady and heavy at times.

0.50"-1.50" of rain can be expected areawide. This may lead to ponding on roadways and flooding in areas of poor drainage.

River Levels

As for the streams, creeks, and rivers, they will rise. However, we do not anticipate any flooding concerns at this time.
