500 grams of meth seized, two facing charges

(WBRE/WYOU) — Two people are facing charges after investigators stated they seized 500 grams of methamphetamine and several guns from their possession.

According to acting U.S. Attorney John C. Gurganus, a federal grand jury indicted 34-year-old Craig Lee Hickson of Plymouth and 46-year-old Rasheeda Kelly of Wilkes-Barre on drug trafficking and firearms violations.

Suspect wanted after armed robbery at store

Investigators said on February 21 in Luzerne County, Hickson, and Kelly attempted to distribute over 500 grams of methamphetamine. Detectives also claimed Kelly had several guns as a felon who is not allowed to have firearms.

The maximum penalty for this offense is life in prison, a term of supervised release following imprisonment, and a fine.
