LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Pennsylvania State Police searched for an escaped state hospital patient who went missing near Dickson City.
Good samaritan reflects on rescuing man in deadly fire
Troopers were looking for 24-year-old Britney Vandervort who is a patient at Clarks Summit State Hospital and allegedly escaped.
According to state police, Vandervort entered the office to check in for a scheduled medical appointment in Dickson City, and shortly after she fled the premises.
Vandervort has since been found safely.
