CARBONDALE TWP., LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Authorities report a 13-year-old has died after a collision involving an ATV and SUV.
On Monday evening, around 7:45 p.m., the Carbondale Township Police were called to the intersection of Electric Street and Meredith Street for an ATV and SUV crash.
Driver dies after hitting tree in the road
Trooper Urban tells 28/22 News that a juvenile was killed as a result of the crash. Lackawanna County Coroner Timothy Rowland identified the victim as 13-year-old Gregory Perri of Fell Township.
Coroner Rowland states Perri suffered injuries when an ATV he was operating was involved in the collision with the SUV. Perri later died in the emergency room at Geisinger Community Medical Center.
