MONTROSE, SUSQUEHANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A man has been charged with 12 counts of rape of a child, according to state police.
State police report they have filed the following charges against Ernest Thomas Labarr, 64, of Montrose, following an investigation into child sex abuse allegations;
Man charged with 54 counts of child pornography
12 counts of rape of a child
12 counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than 16 years old
12 counts of statutory sexual assault (offender 11 years older than victim)
12 counts of aggravated indecent assault of a child
12 counts of indecent assault (person less than 13 years old)
12 counts of indecent exposure
As stated in the affidavit, Labarr admitted to sexually assaulting the victim at least 12 times over a year.
