'Don't call police' man in woman's bathtub says, officers report

WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)—Officers reported that an unknown man was in a woman's bathtub and told her not to call the police.

According to the Wilkes-Barre City Police Department, on March 14, around 5:00 a.m., officers were called to South Meade Street for a burglary report.

Man accused of kidnapping child for ‘ding-dong ditching’

On the scene, the victim told police when she entered her bathroom, she saw a light coming from the bathtub. The victim then pulled back the shower curtain and saw a man sitting inside the tub, officers stated.

Investigators said the suspect then fled the victim's bathroom and yelled, "don't call the police" while he fled her home.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
