BLOOMSBURG, COLUMBIA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police in Bloomsburg are investigating a string of vehicle break-ins that happened Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
The Bloomsburg Police Department said they are investigating a series of vehicle break-ins that happened on Wednesday, March 12, between 10:15 p.m. and 2:30 a.m. Thursday morning.
Police say the streets known to be affected are the following:
The 100 block of West First Street
The rear of the 200 block of West Main Street
The 300 block of West Street
The 300 and 400 blocks of Jefferson Street.
Authorities believe the suspect is wearing a surgical face mask, black joggers, and a dark purple hoodie.
Lane restrictions set to impact multiple counties
Police say the suspect was seen entering unlocked vehicles and throwing items through vehicle windows to enter.
