SMITHFIELD TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Officials are asking the community for help in their search for a man they say was taking pictures of a young girl in a bathroom at a ski resort.

On Friday, March 14, shortly after 2:00 p.m., Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Troop N Stroudsburg was called to the incident at the Shawnee Mountain Ski Resort in Smithfield Township.

During their investigation, troopers say they found the victim, a young girl, was filmed/photographed while using the women's restroom.
After being discovered, state police say the suspect, described as a light-skinned, medium-height man, then fled the scene but was captured on surveillance footage.
