NANTICOKE, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Pennsylvania American Water has issued a boil advisory for customers in part of Nanticoke due to a main break that impacted a storage tank.
The following streets in Nanticoke are on a boil advisory:
Vista Drive
Overlook Road
Industrial Park Road

PA American Water says there are about 75 customers impacted.
You should not drink water before boiling it. You should also not use the water for cooking, making ice, washing dishes, and brushing teeth without boiling it first.
"Inadequately treated water may contain disease-causing organisms. These organisms include bacteria, viruses and parasites, which can cause symptoms such as nausea, cramps, diarrhea and associated headaches," the water company said in a media release.
Repairs are expected to be completed Tuesday eveming.
