LYCOMING COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A California man is facing almost 59 sexual assault-related charges after allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old in Lycoming County.
Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Montoursville said in a release they were contacted by the mother of a 14-year-old girl on Monday, March 17.
Troopers say the mother requested PSP to try to find her daughter who she found to be communicating with a 28-year-old man through social media.
State Police had responded to the girl's residence and saw messages on a phone.
While troopers were at the house, the young girl was seen walking on a nearby street.
After an interview with the girl, she confessed to going to the Hampton Inn to have sex with a man, later identified as 28-year-old California resident Marvin Isaac Dagoc, troopers said.
The young girl also said during the interview with troopers that Dagoc was taking video of the sexual intercourse, according to PSP.

Authorities responded to the Hampton Inn to continue their investigation and, after interviews with staff and others, obtained an arrest warrant for Dagoc.
State Police say a search warrant was also obtained, where a video apparatus was found in the hotel room purchased by Dagoc.
In their investigation, Dagoc was found at the Philadelphia Airport where he was subsequently found and detained.
On Wednesday, March 19, Dagoc was arraigned in front of Magisterial Judge William Solomon, was denied bail, and was taken to the Lycoming County Prison.
Dagoc is facing almost 60 charges for the incident, including first-degree felony rape, unlawful contact with a minor, and other related charges.
According to public records, Dagoc has a preliminary hearing scheduled for April 4.
