HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police utilized the Raven Gunshot Detection System to locate where a shooting took place in Hazleton.
Police say on March 20, around 5:20 p.m., an officer with the Hazleton Police Department heard gunshots, then used the Raven Gunshot Detection System to locate the shots in the 600 block of North Vine Street.
Police use Flock Safety system to arrest two suspects
According to police, when officers arrived there were several vehicles with apparent bullet holes in them and shell casings in the roadway.
Police reported that five vehicles were damaged and no one was injured.
Police are asking anyone with security cameras along North Vine Street from 15th Street to Diamond Avenue to see if their cameras caught any footage of the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
