BERWICK, COLUMBIA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A woman was arrested after police say they discovered her selling methamphetamine from her apartment in Pennsylvania.

According to the Berwick Police Department, in March officers started an investigation into 30-year-old Erin Houseweart for selling methamphetamine out of an apartment complex in the 900 block of West Front Street in Berwick.
A search warrant was requested after tips to police about drug activity were received and days of surveillance on the apartment resulted in police seeing Houseweart allegedly leaving to make a drug sale.
Police said Houseweart was arrested inside a car where officers believed she was making a drug sale with the driver.
The search warrant resulted in the seizure of the following;
$595
Several pre-packaged packets of methamphetamine
Three digital scales
New packaging material
Money ledgers
A small amount of marijuana
Various narcotics paraphernalia for narcotics use
Houseweart faces several drug charges. She remains in the Columbia County Prison after not posting the $25,000 straight cash bail.
