HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police say a man vomited on an officer while being arrested after a fight.
On March 25, around 5:50 a.m., officers were called for a fight in the 600 block of Seybert Street. Police said they learned 23-year-old Tyress Martinez of Allentown had returned to a home where he was trespassing earlier in the night when a fight happened.
Martinez had fled on foot before police arrived, and he was shortly located hiding behind concrete barriers. Investigators stated that while police were trying to place Martinez into the holding cell, he spat saliva and vomited in an officer's face, reaching his eye.
